Kricket Atwood

“The Show From Buffalo”

I was born in Greensburg, Kentucky and now reside there with my husband Jerry and sons Logan and Blaine.  I also have another son Brandon and a daughter Jacey. I’m the fifth child of six children and have a twin sister named Kathy. Music was passed down from my Mama and my Grandaddy at the age of five years old beginning with Bluegrass and Traditional Country music.

At the age of twelve, I landed my first regular Saturday night gig at the Lincoln Jamboree in Hodgenville, KY.  Thanks to Joel Ray for seeing potential and believing in me! While working the jamboree, I also opened shows for many stars including the legendary George Jones at Louisville Gardens. After five years at The Lincoln Jamboree, I moved to Cumberland County and worked with two bands until I moved to Bowling Green.  I put together my own band called “Kricket and 30-06” singing the Southern Rock music I love. Next, I worked at the Junction Jamboree with Rick Aiken and the Country Cookin’ Band. Currently I am a regular cast member at Music Ranch USA with the Country Cookin' Band.
